Kolya is a real hero! His path to independence was not easy. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy from birth. When Kolya first came to the aquarehabilitation course, he could only stand a little with support, sat with difficulty and was very tense. The new environment caused him fear and anxiety, and spasticity limited his movements.
But thanks to regular water classes, Kolya made huge strides forward. Now he is not afraid of water and looks forward to each class. Spasticity has significantly decreased, and his arms and legs have become flexible and mobile. Kolya can stand with support for up to 20 minutes, and has also begun to develop self-care skills, such as trying to put on a sweater.
Over the past year, Kolya has learned to ride a bike and an active wheelchair, has become more talkative and sociable. He sits on the sofa himself and can sit cross-legged, strengthening his core muscles. These achievements have become possible thanks to aquarehabilitation, which, unfortunately, is not available to everyone.
In addition to Kolya, seven more children need aquarehabilitation and support. Your help can change their lives, giving them a chance for a brighter future.
Support our project and give children a chance to gain self-confidence, develop new skills, and get closer to independent living. Your support can be the key to their success and happiness.
