There are a huge number of stray dogs and cats living on city streets, which in most cases were born on the street or, due to various circumstances, were left without a home.
For example, one cat can give birth to about 12 kittens in a year. Just imagine how many there will be in a year, two, three. Some will end up in a shelter, but shelters where animals are primarily kept together are dangerous for puppies and kittens, who need special care and attention. They often get sick and die from infections.
But street life is also fraught with many dangers that dogs and cats cannot protect themselves from. Every day they suffer from auto injuries, human cruelty, and dangerous diseases.
Sterilization is becoming the only humane and effective method of controlling the number of street animals. Therefore, we are now raising funds to purchase an anesthesia drug that allows such operations to be performed.
