Thanks to you, Alain got the surgery he needed!

Thanks to the help of TOOBA subscribers, little Alen Akhat received timely surgery to install plates to correct the shape of his skull.

Trigonocephaly (skull deformity) was diagnosed a month after Alain was born. The disease threatened the baby with loss of hearing, vision and developmental delay. Fortunately, thanks to concerned people who helped to pay for the operation and experienced Russian surgeons, the operation was successful.

The operation lasted about 5 hours, the baby came out of anaesthesia without complications and was soon transferred from the intensive care unit to the ward where his mother was waiting for him. Now Alen has already been discharged from the hospital and together with his mum went home. The stitches on his head are almost healed and he has become very active and inquisitive.

‘Soon after the operation Alain changed a lot. I am so happy to see him smiling all the time, he became very calm. After all, before he was tormented by headaches, he did not smile at all, he cried. I can't express in words all my gratitude to the people who helped to pay for the plates for the operation and gave my son back his health,’ says Dana, Alen's mum.
