Muhammad was born prematurely in a serious condition and was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit, where he stayed for the first 2 months of his life. At that age Muhammad was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity of the last, fifth stage. This means that the retina has detached and without surgery Muhammad may go blind for good.
The baby has already undergone three eye surgeries, two of them with your help. As a result of the last operation the pathological processes in the eye have been reduced. The child needs the next stage of surgical treatment while the process is still reversible. The surgery is needed to preserve the eye as an organ and try to restore visual function by spreading the retinal tissue.
The baby's family cannot pay for the surgery - the family of four is supported by his dad, he works as a handyman.
