A course of sessions with speech therapists, surdologists and psychologists helped the boy to improve his speech skills. More than 40 sessions have been completed, during which Mustafa learned to pronounce new sounds and grammatically correct sentence structure. Thank you for your support, tubers!

Two years ago, Mustafa contracted severe pneumonia and became completely deaf. The child was urgently fitted with cochlear implants in both ears, but this was not enough to restore his speech. Since then, the Magomedovs started regular sessions with a doctor, because several months spent in complete silence had sharply slowed down the two-year-old's speech development. But even with a speech therapist, his speech was still incomprehensible to others: it is not an easy task to make complex consonant sounds for a child with cochlear implants. It requires simultaneous complex work of several specialists in auditory rehabilitation. And it happened, thanks to your support.

“The rehabilitation went great! My son has begun to understand more speech, and he has also gained a new vocabulary and is already trying to form sentences. Thank you all so much for helping our family,” says Saida, the boy's mom.
