Sulumbek and his twin brother were born much prematurely, which had a negative impact on their health. Sulumbek spent the first month and a half of his life in intensive care due to respiratory failure. Later doctors diagnosed him with hyperkinetic form of cerebral palsy.

In this form of cerebral palsy there is a disorder of muscle tone, which manifests itself in involuntary movements. This makes it difficult for the boy to learn such basic skills as sitting, crawling and speech.

To overcome the difficulties associated with cerebral palsy, Sulumbek needs regular rehabilitation courses. It will be easier for his parents to move around with him as the boy grows and becomes heavier if they have a special wheelchair with many supports for his head and torso. In addition, the wheelchair can be used for various educational activities, as Sulumbek's intelligence is preserved and he will be able to study the world around him.
