The prosthesis compensates for the difference in the boy's leg lengths, provides balance, and will help avoid spinal curvature, reduce the load on the healthy leg, and prevent the worsening of osteoporosis.Most importantly, the prosthesis will allow Khasireta to walk without crutches, run, play football, develop muscles and joints, and be active like other children. We thank everyone who helped the boy receive a leg prosthesis.

Haziretali needs a prosthetic tibia

Khaziretali was born healthy, and there was no sign of trouble. However, when the boy was one and a half years old, his mother noticed that he was limping. Doctors in his native Kyrgyzstan diagnosed a bone fracture, however, the treatment did not work. The bone did not heal, and his leg was getting shorter. Thus began a long journey of struggle for the ability to walk without pain.

Numerous surgeries in Kyrgyzstan, Ilizarov apparatus, a plate in her leg, rehabilitation. Cholponai's mom did not give up. She found out about a clinic in Russia, where the doctor was able to correctly diagnose and offer treatment. In 2023, Haziretali underwent an important surgery, and a year later the Ilizarov apparatus was removed. Now, in order for the boy to walk without crutches, he needs a modular prosthetic lower leg.

The prosthesis will allow Haziretali to move freely, distribute the load evenly on his body, avoid problems with his spine and a healthy leg.
