Ibrahim is 8 years old. From an early age, the boy had a sleep disorder and a lag in physical development. After the examinations, diagnoses were made: delayed speech development with autistic manifestations, severe speech and behavior disorders.
Throughout the course of intensive classes, the AVA specialist worked on the skill of asking using PECS cards to obtain a motivational subject. Ibrahim learned to calmly part with the subject, perform simple motor movements and cooperate with the teacher at the table.
The speech therapist worked on the correct pronunciation of sounds and the construction of Ibrahim's phrasal speech. Previously, the boy had instability and selectivity of attention, which caused him to jump from one thing to another in conversation, not pronouncing letters and words. During rehabilitation, the child has learned to pronounce words clearly and loudly. At the moment, it has become much easier and easier for him to make requests to adults.
Thanks to classes with an adaptive physical education instructor and a sensory integration specialist, Ibrahim learned how to perform exercises with a ball, jump, overcome obstacles, throw a ball at a target, his large and fine motor skills improved, and his ability to keep his balance.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to paying for the rehabilitation course for Ibrahim!
Alhamdulillah
