Kirill needs rehabilitation to recover from brain surgery

At the age of 5, Kiryusha was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The operation saved the boy's life, but took away everything: the ability to walk, talk, even eat.

His family helps the boy not to give up. His older brother Rodion became his support in everything. Thanks to the help of caring people, Kirill got a chance to take the first courses of rehabilitation. Every tiny victory of Kiryusha was an event! He learned to stand with support, climb onto the sofa. Nadezhda heard her son's voice again, Kira and his twin brother Ilya learned poems for their mother.

But the path to full recovery is long. The boy's left hand does not obey well, he cannot walk yet. Studying is incredibly difficult: he has been homeschooled for the third year in the first grade, he forgets the letters. Kirill tries his best, dreaming of being like his brother Ilya again, who is already in the third grade.

Kirill needs to undergo rehabilitation every 2-3 months. This is the only way he has a chance to learn to walk again, control his hand, and become more independent. But the family's resources are at their limit. Nadezhda and Rodion work in shifts in a small village store so that someone is always with Kirill. The salary is only enough for the bare necessities. Rehabilitation courses are an unbearable burden.
