Ruslan has successfully completed an intensive rehabilitation course!

Ruslan is 10 years old. He has a delay in psycho-speech development, a disorder of receptive and expressive speech, general speech underdevelopment, and an autism spectrum disorder. At the age of one, the boy experienced a developmental regression: he would not let anyone near him, stopped speaking and responding to his name, and lost eye contact.

During sessions with specialized professionals, Ruslan practiced new skills such as 'wait' and 'first-then.' He also learned to correctly answer 'yes' and 'no'—'yes' when he wanted a motivational stimulus, and 'no' when he refused a non-motivational item.

Active work was done to expand Ruslan's requesting skills. The boy can now ask for motivational items and stimuli using two words! Ruslan also learned to follow two-component motor instructions and instructions in the 'noun + noun' format, for example, 'show cup,' 'bring ball.'

With his adaptive sports coach, the child mastered new exercises and improved his coordination and gross motor skills. There has been progress in developing his sense of balance and equilibrium; it has become much easier for Ruslan to stand on a balance beam, throw a ball at a target, or squat.
