13-year–old Olya has Crohn's disease, a chronic inflammation of the gastric tract. In order for a girl to absorb nutrients from food, grow and develop, she needs special meals every day without breaks and rest.
When Olya went to kindergarten, her mother began to notice that the girl was suffering from stomach pain, constipation, gas. The temperature came to school for no reason, without coughing and snot. Olya was examined. They put me in oncology. Then I went to the infirmary. Then into astroenterology. All this time she was rapidly losing weight and suffering from a stomach ache. And so the gastroenterology department diagnosed Crohn's disease.
Treatment of this disease, in which the entire gastrointestinal tract can become inflamed, which not only cover the mucous membrane, but also penetrate it, is “lifelong". Every day, the girl takes several medications and two glasses of therapeutic nutrition. Home alone for breakfast. The second one is at school for an afternoon snack with a bun. Skinny Olya carries a therapeutic mixture in a thermocup and mixes it with water at recess. It tastes like powdered milk, and Olya doesn't particularly like her food, but she bravely drinks it and follows a strict diet.
At first, the parents bought expensive medical food themselves, hoping that they would receive a disability and with it – support from the state. But Olya was denied disability.
Let's support Olya so that she has a supply of medicinal mixture, strength to study and a life without pain!
