Lera needs rehabilitation

Lera was born with a heart defect. At 10 days old, she underwent surgery, which resulted in sepsis. For a long time, she couldn't eat on her own and was fed through a tube. Because of all these difficulties, her speech and motor development progressed slowly.

But Lera doesn't give up. Since she was two, she has been working with a special education teacher, a speech therapist, a psychologist, and is monitored by a neurologist, a cardiologist, and other doctors. She really wants to go to school and be active and resilient.

Lera has another rehabilitation course ahead of her. It includes sessions with various specialists, but right now, massage and physiotherapy are especially important: they will help strengthen her muscles, improve her coordination, and prepare her body for the demands of school.
