Sofiya has a severe form of cerebral palsy. Help the girl maintain her progress and continue her rehabilitation!

Sofiya was born at 26 weeks of pregnancy, weighing less than 1 kg. Due to pneumonia and incomplete lung expansion, the girl spent more than a year on mechanical ventilation. Later, she was diagnosed with retinopathy, epilepsy, and a severe form of cerebral palsy, and until the age of 5, Sofiya breathed through a tracheostomy tube.

Because of the accompanying epilepsy, state centers often refused to provide rehabilitation. The first successes appeared only after sessions with private specialists: cognitive skills developed, and Sofiya began to show interest in fairy tales, music, and children's performances.

Thanks to physical therapy, spasticity subsided, Sofiya learned to hold her head up, sit with support, grasp objects, and she participates in swimming and hippotherapy. Without regular training, the progress achieved quickly fades. The family is asking for help to pay for the next rehabilitation course!
