Madina has blood cancer. She needs therapy with a special medication to take a step toward recovery

Madina began her battle against the disease in early spring 2026. The surgical removal of the tumor was followed by a spinal tap, and she was soon diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.

Madina flew from her hometown of Krasnodar to St. Petersburg and underwent two rounds of chemotherapy. "Madina is enduring all the procedures with great fortitude and believes she will beat the disease," says Maryam, Madina’s mother. "Because of her strength of spirit, I call her my 'steadfast tin soldier'."

To reduce the risk of future relapse, doctors decided to prescribe Mylotarg therapy for Madina. However, the medication is currently unavailable at the clinic's pharmacy; it must be procured on an individual basis, a process that takes time. Madina needs to undergo this treatment as soon as possible, which is why we are turning to you for help.
