Bilal is two years old. He was born at 29 weeks and spent the first two weeks of his life in intensive care on a ventilator. Just a month later, the boy needed surgery due to obstructive hydrocephalus—a ventriculoperitoneal shunt was placed. Now, Bilal has stage 4a retinopathy, and so far, nothing has been done to treat this diagnosis. Vision-saving surgery is needed.
Despite everything, Bilal is a true little hero: in spite of all the challenges, he remains strong and brings a sense of wonder to his family. For his loved ones, every day with him is priceless, and every smile is a huge joy. He deserves a chance to see the world, enjoy simple things, and be happy, just like any child.
The family is doing everything they can, but they cannot cope without support. Please help give Bilal this chance!
