More than 500 cats live at the "Devoted Heart" shelter. Regular vaccination is one of the key measures that helps maintain animal health and prevent the spread of infections in crowded conditions.
For routine vaccination, we use Multifel — a Russian combination vaccine for cats. It protects against three dangerous viral diseases: panleukopenia (feline enteritis), calicivirus, and viral rhinotracheitis .
Previously, the vaccine included a component against chlamydia, but from February 2026, the manufacturer removed it. The product is now released as a trivalent vaccine .
The vaccine forms stable immunity 14 days after the second injection, which lasts for a year. It can be administered simultaneously with rabies vaccines (Rabifel) and feline leukemia vaccines (Leominor) but at different injection sites . There are no contraindications other than clinically ill or weakened animals, and the vaccine is well tolerated by cats of all ages .
We now need to carry out routine vaccination for the shelter cats. We are raising funds for the Multifel vaccine.
We would be grateful for any help. Timely vaccination means the health and protection of our cats.
