The "Devoted Heart" shelter is home to hundreds of animals. To ensure timely diagnosis and treatment monitoring, we regularly run biochemistry blood tests — this helps assess internal organ function, detect hidden pathologies, and adjust therapy.
We use the FUJI DRI-CHEM biochemistry analyzer in our work. This analyzer uses special single-use slides, onto which a drop of blood is applied . The system provides quick results across a wide range of parameters — from total protein and glucose to liver enzyme activity, which is critical for monitoring the condition of critically ill animals .
Each slide is designed for one test and is single-use — it is discarded after use . Consumables run out quickly, and without them the analyzer cannot function.
We are raising funds for FUJI DRI-CHEM slides for the biochemistry analyzer.
