The mother calls her three-year-old son “amanat,” i.e. a gift entrusted to her by God. The boy has a severe form of a rare genetic disease - epidermolysis bullosa.
Amantur’s skin is highly sensitive. Any careless touch can lead to the formation of blisters and erosions. In Amantur’s homeland, Kyrgyzstan, the boy couldn’t be given the correct diagnosis, and the family went to Moscow. There, the mother was told about the specifics of skin care and taught how to do dressings.
Amantur’s condition periodically worsens; he needs constant, expensive care.
“Now his fingers are starting to bend. This happens because the child’s bones and body are growing, but the skin doesn’t grow as quickly.” “It tightens and pulls the fingers inward, causing them to start bending,” says the mother.
Amantur needs care and dressing supplies every day. The family, which also has two other children, cannot afford such expenses.
Support Amantur so that he can grow and develop on par with his peers!
