Abbas needs rehabilitation for autism correction

Abbas is 6 years old. He was born at 38 weeks via cesarean section. However, everything changed after he was discharged home—the child stopped sleeping and eating normally. His parents immediately realized something was wrong and consulted a neurologist. Soon, a diagnosis was made: atypical autism with intellectual disability.

At the age of two, Abbas did not speak, did not understand spoken language, did not respond to his name, and lacked a pointing gesture. He was very tearful and extremely selective with food (this problem persists to this day), and he was constantly under severe nervous tension. Since the age of four, the family has been undergoing rehabilitation, and the first results have appeared: the long-awaited first words were spoken, and receptive speech began to develop.

Today, Abbas is already making progress, but there is still a long road ahead. He still does not speak in sentences and has difficulties communicating with peers. For further development, the boy needs another course of intensive rehabilitation, which his parents cannot afford, as there is another child with developmental challenges in the family and all resources have been exhausted.
