Madat has SMA and needs rehabilitation

Until the age of one, Madat grew up as an active and curious child, no different from his peers. But after his first birthday, his parents began to notice something was wrong: muscle weakness increased, movements became more difficult, and fatigue set in too quickly.

A long journey to doctors began. The family did everything possible: massages, physical therapy, constant examinations. A key moment was a trip for a consultation in Baku, where the diagnosis was confirmed: spinal muscular atrophy type 2 (SMA).

Today, Madat is a true fighter. Every day he fights for his body: he can take more than 10 steps without support; he is learning to keep his balance; he tries to lift his legs by himself.

But every step costs him incredible effort.

To maintain these skills and learn new ones, Madat needs regular rehabilitation. He needs to strengthen his muscles.
