Kolya was born with serious health issues. Even during pregnancy, doctors discovered that the baby had a congenital brain development disorder. This condition is associated with other diagnoses as well: CNS malformation, epilepsy, partial optic nerve atrophy, and a cleft palate.
Currently, Kolya crawls on all fours, can stand for a short time while holding onto support, and walk with assistance. However, he is not yet able to stand up on his own, maintain balance, or sit down safely by himself.
Children like Kolya require regular rehabilitation. It helps strengthen muscles, develop coordination and balance, reinforce learned movements, and acquire new ones. For the family, the ongoing cost of therapy sessions is a significant financial burden.
We are now raising funds for Kolya's first stage of rehabilitation. In order for him to be able to stand confidently and, possibly, walk independently in the future, the sessions must not be interrupted.
Please support our fundraiser and help Kolya continue to develop!
