Navrat will soon turn 14 years old. She has been diagnosed with autism. Until the age of five, she could not fall asleep without a bottle of milk. Her parents visited dozens of specialists, seeking help for six years without pause, seeing everyone they could find.
Their efforts began to bear fruit. Gradually, Navrat became more aware, her understanding awakened. Her first words appeared, communication improved, and there were positive changes.
But now the most difficult period has begun—the teenage years. Hormonal changes have overlapped with the particularities of her development, and it has become incredibly hard for her to cope with overwhelming emotions. She often cannot explain what she feels, which makes her angry at herself. This turns into aggression: she may hit other children, swear, and it is almost impossible to stop her in these moments.
Navrat needs rehabilitation to help her.
Unfortunately, the family is in a very difficult financial situation and cannot afford this vital rehabilitation course.
Let’s help this bright girl get through the challenges of growing up! Let’s give her a chance for a peaceful life and a happy youth.
