Ramazan is 10 years old. At the age of two, Ramazan did not speak, only making individual sounds. He did not respond to his name, and his behavior was unregulated: screaming, hand-flapping, severe hyperactivity. The world seemed confusing and frightening to him.
Visits to doctors began. A neurologist made a difficult diagnosis: delayed psycho-speech development (DPSD) with behavioral disorder, autistic-like traits, and organic brain damage. Medication was prescribed. But his parents did not give up. At the same time, they began a long journey of rehabilitation at a specialized center. Step by step, session by session: sessions with a speech therapist; ABA therapy; neurocorrection; special gymnastics.
And this persistent effort bore fruit! Ramazan began to respond to his name, and his understanding of spoken language noticeably improved. This is a huge victory for him and his family.
Now Ramazan needs another course of rehabilitation, which will help him take the next step in his development. However, financial difficulties do not allow his parents to cope with this task on their own.
Let’s all help Ramazan complete this important course together!
