Kolya was born with serious health issues. He is now 2 years and 9 months old. Even during pregnancy, doctors discovered that the baby had a congenital brain development disorder. Kolya has also been diagnosed with other conditions: central nervous system malformation, epilepsy, partial optic nerve atrophy, and a cleft palate.
The boy urgently needs sessions with specialists: a speech therapist, a special education teacher, and a neuropsychologist, as well as sensory integration therapy. The speech therapist teaches Kolya to breathe correctly, articulate, understand, and pronounce words. The special education teacher helps develop attention, memory, and daily living skills, and prepares him for further learning. The neuropsychologist helps form new neural connections, develop attention and memory, and teaches behavior control. Sensory integration sessions help Kolya better feel his body and navigate in space.
Kolya needs rehabilitation on an ongoing basis: it helps reinforce acquired skills and gain new ones. But it is very difficult for the family to pay for sessions regularly.
Fond «Ty emu nuzhen» is raising funds for Kolya’s second stage of rehabilitation. In order for the boy to continue developing, the sessions must not be interrupted.
Support the fundraising for the second stage of rehabilitation! So that Kolya can become more independent.
