Damir is 5 years old. He was born at term, but at three months old he contracted coronavirus. After the illness, the child became very tearful and did not sleep at night. At one year old, his mother noticed that he had changed: he did not respond to his name and cried constantly. That was when their journey began.
They visited many doctors, who diagnosed him with delayed speech and psychoverbal development (DSPD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The family attended various centers and underwent rehabilitation—there were small steps in his development, but progress is very slow because the family cannot afford regular courses.
While the child is still young, there is a chance to at least partially socialize him and help him start speaking. Hearing even a single word from her son is the mother's greatest dream.
Let's help Damir complete this important rehabilitation course for his development!
