Shamil is 5 years old. Until the age of one year and three months, the boy was healthy and developing according to his age, until he suffered a serious illness, after which there was a sharp regression in his development. At 1.3 years old, neurologists diagnosed Shamil with delayed psycho-speech development (DPSD). He began courses of medication and constant therapy: ABA therapy, neurodynamic gymnastics (NDG), sessions with a special education teacher, general massage, and speech therapy massage.
Recently, doctors clarified the diagnosis to autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Now Shamil faces ongoing rehabilitation. Each therapy is challenging, but brings small yet important changes in his understanding of the world. For now, the boy does not speak.
Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties, the family cannot afford this important rehabilitation course on their own.
Let's help Shamil go through it!
