Amal is a very young girl. She has cerebral palsy, atonic-astatic type. This form of CP is characterized by severe coordination and muscle tone disorders—it is difficult for the little girl to keep her balance, control her movements, or even just sit. But her parents are not giving up: Amal regularly undergoes rehabilitation courses, and specialists note positive progress.
To consolidate what has been achieved and develop new skills, Amal critically needs rehabilitation in several areas:
Massage—relieves tension and prepares the muscles for work;
Physical therapy—teaches the body to move, strengthens muscles, and develops coordination;
Speech therapy—works on speech and communication skills;
Bobath therapy—helps build correct movement patterns and improve body control.
The earlier systematic sessions begin, the greater the chances that the little girl will learn to sit, crawl, and walk. Without rehabilitation, precious time may be lost.
The family is doing everything they can, but their financial resources are very limited.
Help Amal continue her journey—give her a chance at a full childhood.
