Adam is four years old. He has been diagnosed with epilepsy and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). His first seizures occurred as early as the second day after birth—he was saved in the intensive care unit, where he spent 10 days on a ventilator. The seizures continue to torment the child, occurring once or twice a week.
Adam has always lagged behind his peers: first in motor development, and later in psycho-speech development. Now, at four and a half years old, he is completely dependent, does not understand spoken language, and does not speak.
To overcome his developmental delays, Adam needs regular sessions with specialists. Unfortunately, these are very expensive, and his parents cannot afford them due to their difficult financial situation.
Let’s join our efforts and help Adam complete this important rehabilitation course!
