When Togrul was two years old, an accident occurred. The boy severely injured his left hand. Doctors performed five complex surgeries, but complications could not be avoided. As a result, four fingers on Togrul's left hand were amputated.
Togrul received his first prosthesis at the age of four and quickly got used to it. But while Togrul grew, the prosthesis did not.
At six, he got a second prosthesis. At seven, a third.
Now Togrul is nine years old. He is in the fourth grade, does well in school, and practices taekwondo. He remains a curious, sociable, and active boy. He dreams of going swimming and learning to play the piano.
But the story with prostheses is repeating itself again.
If there is no prosthesis, the boy will once again have to get used to limitations he has already learned to overcome. That is why it is important now to ensure that, due to lack of funds, Togrul does not have to give up his usual independence.
We have already helped Togrul twice — in 2022 and 2025. Thanks to the foundation's support, he received prostheses and was able to continue his active life.
Let’s help Togrul maintain his independence, continue practicing his favorite sport, study, try new things, and simply remain an active nine-year-old boy.
