By the age of two, Shamil was developmentally behind his peers. Specialists diagnosed him with autism spectrum disorder and delayed psycho-speech development.
Shamil is now 5 years old. The boy loves toys that can be taken apart and put back together, and he can play in the sandbox for a long time. However, he does not speak and avoids contact with other children. The boy does not like getting dressed and is afraid of large crowds. After several intensive therapy courses, he developed partial understanding of spoken language and began to establish eye contact.
For Shamil to achieve further progress, he needs to undergo an intensive rehabilitation course, including sessions with specialized professionals.
