The 'You Are Needed' Foundation is opening a development center for orphans and foster children with special health needs. Here, children will be able to work with a speech therapist-defectologist, a psychologist, an adaptive physical education specialist, receive massages, and participate in other developmental and rehabilitation activities.
Many of the foundation's beneficiaries come for long-term treatment from different regions of Russia. It is important that during this time, children not only receive medical care, but also continue to develop, communicate, learn new skills, and become more independent.
Renovations at the center are ongoing, and right now it is necessary to purchase lighting fixtures, electrical materials, plumbing, and other supplies needed for the work. All of this is required to prepare the premises for classes and make them comfortable and safe for children, including those who use wheelchairs.
