Stas was born as one of twins with an extremely low birth weight—just 830 grams and 33 cm. For the first few days, the boy was on mechanical ventilation, followed by two months in intensive care. At 4 months old, he underwent eye surgery, at 6 months he was granted disability status for visual impairment, and at one year old, he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.
Through years of struggle for his health, Stas has undergone 13 surgeries and completed numerous rehabilitation courses. Today, the young man walks independently, though only for short distances. He excels academically at a gymnasium, practices adaptive swimming professionally holding the 3rd adult sports ranking, and studies programming and English.
To prevent losing the skills gained with such effort, he needs regular professional support from specialists. A new rehabilitation course will help improve his coordination and make a step toward new achievements. Please support Stas!
