Patimat will soon turn six years old. The first signs of developmental delay were noticed as early as age one, and by one and a half, she was diagnosed at a neuropsychiatric clinic with delayed psycho-speech development (DPSD), organic encephalopathy, and Level I general speech underdevelopment. At age five, she was diagnosed with 'atypical autism.'
Currently, Patimat does not understand spoken language and does not speak any words yet; she exhibits pronounced self-aggression—she may bang her head against hard surfaces.
Since her first year of life, Patimat has been receiving comprehensive treatment: medication, regular rehabilitation at specialized centers, massage courses, and swimming. There has been noticeable progress from these activities, but long breaks can lead to regression of skills. Unfortunately, the constant cost of rehabilitation courses is an overwhelming financial burden for the family.
Let’s support Patimat together and give her a chance to undergo another rehabilitation course!
