Dasha lives with a severe form of epidermolysis bullosa — a rare genetic disorder in which the skin is so fragile that even light friction causes blisters and painful wounds.
Since childhood, Dasha has been dealing with complications of the disease: her fingers are partially fused, she has problems with her esophagus, and a few years ago she was diagnosed with skin cancer. Daily dressings take at least two hours, after which the girl often has to rest due to pain.
Despite this, Dasha loves to draw, runs blogs, and even tries to weave bracelets from beads. Creativity helps her find joy in every day.
Since 2021, Dasha has been supported by the “Children‑Butterflies” foundation. Right now, the girl is running out of special dressings, without which it’s impossible to carefully protect her wounds.
We are launching a fundraising campaign to provide Dasha with the necessary supplies and reduce the risk of complications. Help her continue her daily skin care routine!
