When a child from an orphanage or boarding school ends up in the hospital, they are left completely alone. There is no one to hold their hand before a frightening procedure, to comfort them when they're in pain, or to rock them gently. For teenagers from boarding schools, it is difficult, and sometimes impossible, to move around or take care of themselves independently, just like for infants.
The 'I'll Be There' Foundation project was created to change this. We provide children from orphanages and boarding schools in the Krasnoyarsk region with constant care and support in hospitals. Our professional nannies are on duty in hospitals in three cities of the region, replacing a close adult for the child at the most difficult moment.
We help not only orphans. Among those we support are children who have parents on paper, but in reality, their parents are not around—it's impossible to contact them, and there is no one to help.
Our goal is simple: for every child in a hospital ward to have a kind and caring adult by their side. For this, we need your support to pay for the work of our nannies.
Let's help together. So that no child is left alone with their illness.
