1.5-month-old Sumaya, who has a complex heart defect, needs surgery!

Little 1.5-month-old Sumaya needs our help. Immediately after birth, she was diagnosed with a complex heart defect, complicated by pulmonary hypertension. She is currently in the intensive care unit, supported by a mechanical ventilator. She requires heart surgery to have a chance at life. Doctors emphasize that the procedure must be performed urgently—time is a critical factor in the fight for this baby’s life. Sumaya is the third of three children in her family. Her father is the sole breadwinner. The family is unable to afford the surgery on their own, so her father has reached out to the foundation for assistance.
