Semyon is 14 years old. He has cerebral palsy (spastic tetraparesis), postural issues, and foot deformities. He walks with support, trains using a walker, and uses an active wheelchair. He is homeschooled, interested in space, and is very sociable and kind. What he loves most is singing: 'Bad mood? Sing! Good mood? Definitely sing!'
Semyon is currently going through adolescence: his skeletal system is growing rapidly, but his muscles can't keep up. His spasticity is increasing, he is experiencing pain, and there is a risk of knee and foot deformities as well as hand contractures. Regular rehabilitation is vital for him—adaptive physical therapy sessions to relax and train his muscles and support his body.
We are raising funds for a course of adaptive physical therapy for Semyon. Let's help this boy preserve his mobility, cope with pain, and continue enjoying life. Any help is a step toward his health!
