Thanks to your support more than 60 disabled kids in Kostroma region got medical help!

End of July, our fly-in medical team was working in Kostroma region and examined more than 60 kids in two orphanages. The psychiatrist and clinical psychologist were working in Kostroma Specialized Orphanage for Children with Mental Disabilities and examined 12 kids – charges of the orphanage and parental children attending rehabilitation groups in this institution. The foundation “Road of life” has been cooperating with this institution since 2 years within the framework of the project “Medicine Together”. The pediatric team examined 44 kids in the Pervomaisky orphanage for mentally retarded children, which is located in the countryside in Kostroma region. As a result of the work, the doctors of the foundation discussed further cooperation with the orphanage. The fly-in medical team has been helping disabled orphans for almost 7 years in remote regions of the country. So during 7 years more than 6200 kids got full medical examination and prescriptions.
