Umijon is 10 months old. The baby was born prematurely - because of this his eyes were affected by the dangerous disease "retinopathy of prematurity" and quickly developed to the last 5th stage.
Umidzhon was given a disability. The baby has already undergone two eye surgeries, and now he needs a new stage of surgical treatment in St. Petersburg, where doctors successfully help children with retinal detachment. But we need to act quickly, as the delicate retinal tissue in children dies quickly, and there is a big gap between surgeries.
Now Umidzhon is able to distinguish only light, but his vision can be preserved if the operation is performed in time. The child's family is poor, and his father is temporarily unemployed - they cannot afford to pay for the operation.
