In February 2023, Razmik was diagnosed with a brain tumour. The large tumour was located in a hard-to-reach place, and none of the doctors dared to perform the operation in his native Armenia.
Little Razmik was urgently brought to Moscow, hoping for the experience of Russian doctors. At the Burdenko Medical Centre, surgeons performed a complex operation and removed most of the tumour. The doctors fought the remaining small fragment with the help of chemotherapy. Now the main treatment has been successfully completed.
Razmik's life was saved, but the disease took away his ability to walk confidently, the right side of his body lost sensitivity, and strabismus appeared. He could not even breathe on his own, and for a long time he had a tracheostomy.
Thanks to several rehabilitation courses, Razmik is gradually recovering from all his experiences. His independent breathing, speech, memory and motor activity have improved. Razmik dreams of having many friends. He wants to play, run and jump together.
Razmik is waiting for another rehabilitation course, but his parents have no money to pay for it.
