For a child to study well at school, desire and diligence are not enough. They will need stationery, teaching aids, clothes, shoes, a laptop with Internet. Not all parents can afford to buy them. For low-income families, getting ready for school is a difficult test, after which there is not enough money even for food.
Since 2016, the Dari Edu foundation has been helping people in crisis situations with food. Among our wards are large families, single mothers and fathers, parents of children with disabilities. They are the ones who most often face financial difficulties.
In anticipation of September 1, we decided to support them with food packages to ease the financial burden of getting children ready for school. Each package weighs about 10 kg and includes essential products: cereals, pasta, flour, butter, tea, sugar, canned goods, and sweets. 195 families received such assistance.
Thank you for helping needy families with children with us! Together we can do more!
