Dmitry is 34 years old. He has a friendly family - a wife and two children.
The disease for the first time made itself known by sudden severe shortness of breath, weakness, even walking was difficult, he had to sleep sitting up - lying down it was difficult to breathe. At the Burdenko Hospital in Moscow they diagnosed him with T-lymphoblastic lymphoma.
After the first year of treatment, doctors put Dmitry into remission with the need for a bone marrow transplant in the future. With his family he moved to St. Petersburg for treatment at the Almazov NMIC. A donor was found and a bone marrow transplant was performed in December 2023.
But, six months later, Dmitriy faced a relapse. The transplant did not engraft completely, and he needed a refill of donor lymphocytes.
