Shamil is only five, but he already knows exactly what he will become in the future. The boy dreams of being a pediatrician and often says that when he grows up, he will definitely cure all children. After all, he knows firsthand how hard it is when a disease literally takes away childhood. Shamil has congenital immunodeficiency - a rare genetic mutation that paralyzes the body's defense system. He also has a severe concomitant diagnosis - lymphogranulomatosis (chronic inflammation of lymphoid tissue). The only way to cure little Shamil is to give him a bone marrow transplant. But for this the organism must be carefully prepared - the boy is shown therapy, which will restrain the manifestations of the disease, while doctors are looking for a suitable donor for transplantation. Dear tubers, Shamil and two more of our wards are in great need of expensive medicines that will stop the development of complications of their congenital disease. The children's families are not able to buy these expensive drugs on their own - their cost is too high.
