Sasha was born 4 weeks prematurely as a result of an emergency caesarean section. The cause of the premature birth was severe pre-eclampsia, which threatened the life of both mum and baby. Fortunately, both Sasha and his mum survived, but the consequences were serious.
Immediately after birth, Sasha was placed in the intensive care unit and connected to a ventilator. Doctors diagnosed him with cardiopulmonary failure, DIC, VHD, brain ischaemia and post-haemorrhagic hydrocephalus.
Now Sasha is one and a half years old and struggling with his main diagnoses - cerebral palsy and convergent strabismus. Strabismus is not just a cosmetic defect. He is unable to focus his gaze and has problems with depth perception. The operation will correct this problem and open new horizons for Sasha.
Sasha has an older sister Yesenia, who loves and supports him very much. Mum is on maternity leave and dad is the sole breadwinner.
Unfortunately, payment for the operation recommended by doctors to correct strabismus - chemodenervation - exceeds the possibilities of their family budget.
Support Sasha on his road to recovery!
Let's give him a chance to see the world bright and colourful!
