Suleiman's parents turned to specialists after noticing his inattention, inattentiveness and aggressive behaviour towards his younger brothers. To determine the current level of development of higher mental functions and to develop an individual development programme, Suleyman underwent an examination. The results show difficulties in regulating his behaviour and thinking.
Synkinesias (involuntary movements), impulsivity, perseverations (repetition of actions) and problems with ‘working’ in dynamic tasks were found. Although Suleiman is able to analyse and understand complex situations, he has difficulty expressing his thoughts, activating associations and maintaining consistency in reasoning. This indicates a decline in neurodynamic indicators and regulatory functions.
Correctional classes aimed at developing these skills are necessary. Unfortunately, only daddy works in a large family and they cannot afford to pay for special rehabilitation courses.
