Nikita is 14 years old and due to a severe incurable disease, he often suffers from asthma attacks and requires urgent hospitalization. Even trips to the hospital turn into a test - without oxygen support, the boy begins to suffocate. Nikita vitally needed a portable oxygen concentrator, which the family could not buy on their own. Now, thanks to you, Nikita has this important device! This means that the family no longer needs to be afraid of every trip - the concentrator will support the boy's breathing on the road. Nikita will be able to go for walks without risking his health and his loved ones will be able to breathe more calmly, knowing that they can help him at any moment. You gave Nikita not just a device, but the opportunity to breathe, live and fight on. Thank you for staying with us in the most difficult stories. Together we give children a chance for more. 💙

Nikita needs a portable oxygen concentrator

Nikita is 14 years old. During a difficult birth, the boy was injured - displacement of the cervical vertebrae. The consequences were multiple neurological disorders: cerebral palsy, epilepsy, impaired psychomotor development. Nikita had many trips and rehabilitations, but in 2021, on New Year's Eve, he began to choke badly and ended up in intensive care under a ventilator. Doctors were unable to improve his breathing - they had to put in a tracheostomy. Specialists did not give predictions that the boy would breathe on his own, but three months later Nikita returned home without a ventilator. Since then, for almost three years, the boy has been struggling with suffocation. Periodically, Nikita requires emergency hospitalization. And even during trips to the hospital, difficulties arise - the boy suffocates. He vitally needs a portable oxygen concentrator, which the family cannot afford to buy on their own. It will help avoid difficult situations and give Nikita the opportunity to go for walks.
