Aisultan, born at 32 weeks with a weight of only 1690 grams, faced a serious condition - retinopathy of prematurity. Together with her twin brother, she underwent her first local eye surgery in August 2024. Unfortunately, the results of the surgery are not encouraging - Aisultan does not respond to light. Without further treatment and specialised surgery, the risk of complete vision loss is very high. On the recommendation of his parents, they turned for help to a Russian clinic specialising in the treatment of this disease in children. But the problem is aggravated by the fact that the parents are citizens of a neighbouring country, and surgical treatment in St. Petersburg for their daughter will be paid for.
