The cat lived near the church gate, sleeping on the bare ground. Due to the fact that he was always seen in a reclining state, one got the impression that the cat needed help. Volunteers picked him up on July 1, 2023. And the cat was named in honor of the author of “June 31st” - John Boyton Priestley.
At first the volunteers treated Priestley's GI tract, then the focus shifted to his kidneys, then back to his GI tract and pancreas. A therapeutic food was selected. And just three weeks ago, while combing Priestly, his guardian caught a bad smell from his ear and took the cat to the veterinary clinic. An examination revealed a tumour in his ear canal. The cat is scheduled for surgery, before which he will have to undergo tests and visit specialists.
Let's help homeless Priestly get healthy!
