Right after she was born, a large lump was found on Xyusha's neck. It turned out to be a tumor. Perm oncologists sent four-month-old Ksyusha for examination in Moscow, to the D. Rogachev National Medical Center. A decision was made to operate, but unfortunately it was not successful. The plan was to cut out the tumor, but there was severe blood loss. Then it turned out that Ksyusha also suffers from cerebral palsy, and soon was diagnosed with infantile mesenchymal tumor. The little girl was released home under the supervision of doctors.
Six months later - another severe diagnosis - necrosis of the head of the femur. Doctors forbade Ksyusha to stand on her feet, CT and MRI scans indicated tumor growth... Once again Ksenia was sent for examination in Moscow, where she was prescribed chemotherapy. The long and complicated treatment, of course, had a negative impact on the girl's development. At the age of 1 year and 4 months she could only turn over. Then rehabilitologists took up for her and in three months taught the little girl to crawl.
Doctors allowed to give Xyusha a load on her legs when the girl was almost five years old. A lot of time was lost. Ksyusha went through a lot of classes. In 2022 she first came to the center “Adeli”, took 6 courses of rehabilitation there and achieved good results. Ksyusha stood on her feet for the first time, which brought her and her mom inexpressible emotions and hope for the best. Now she is in great need of a rehabilitation course in the Adeli-Penza medical and health center again.
