Salima is 7 years old. By the age of 2, the parents noticed that the girl did not respond to the name, did not contact other children. Specialists diagnosed a delay in speech development.
After completing an intensive rehabilitation course, Salima became more diligent and focused. The girl began to show a keen interest in classes, she developed a "listener's behavior."
During the intensive classes, Salima's understanding of converted speech improved, and her vocabulary expanded. There is a positive trend in the development of visual perception. In sensory integration classes, the specialist also worked on the perception of objects (taste, color, and smell). Adaptive physical education classes had a beneficial effect on Salima's endurance, discipline and physical fitness - she learned how to pass an obstacle course, throw a ball at a target, and ride a bicycle.
Salima also underwent a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which gave positive dynamics in both intellectual development and behavior of the girl. Parents and experts note that Salima has become more calm and attentive.
